CALL THE POLICE
If you had a Hit & Run, you require a police file number before phoning SGI to report the incident if you do not know who hit you.
2.
COLLECT INFORMATION
When in an accident with another vehicle, please take down the following: license plate number, drivers license number and the full name of the person. Get any eyewitnesses information.
3.
REPORT IT TO SGI
If driveable, please take the info and report the incident to SGI by phone or go to their website and file your claim online. Don’t hold up traffic if both vehicles are driveable.
