Our process ensures the safety of your family as we believe by doing the best job we are potentially saving lives.

Listed below are the four major steps we follow when fixing vehicles. At Bergens Auto Body we treat you like family!

Bergens’ Advance Repair Plan (AKA- Initial Assessment)

This is when we need your car for a minimum of one hour, in that time we will write an advance repair plan and a meticulous dismantle. This involves taking the parts off the vehicle that has been involved in the accident to be able to find all damaged parts as well as hidden damage.

Blueprint

This is the information we get on every repair that follows every vehicle. Vehicles have crumple zones for safety reasons. It is important that vehicles are fixed properly so the crumple zones are effective. Examples would be welds on different vehicles as well as using the right tools and equipment to perform the proper repairs included on the blueprints. Blueprints go to every tech that is performing repairs on your vehicle. This is to ensure that the repairs are being done safely and correctly done. Every vehicle is different and it’s our job to give the vehicle back as closely as possible to the day you bought it.

Scanning

vehicles are towedEvery vehicle has computers these days. So Bergen’s technicians will have to scan these to ensure all sensors are working properly. Pre-scans and post scans are done to make sure there are no other computer issues with your vehicle.

Mirror Imaging

This step takes place when we know the exact parts required for the repair. We will pre-order these parts and match them up to a big screen TV. This shows the pictures we took when we were doing the advance repair plan and consists of all damaged parts.  This step is to ensure all new parts are correct and prevents us from having delays in repairs after it has been scheduled in the shop. The Bergens process means that your vehicle will be ready faster because there is no delay waiting for parts.

Bergens Auto Body is committed to safe and proper repairs done in a timely manner. Here at Bergen’s Auto Body & Collision Centre, we treat you like family and that means we work hard to give your vehicles back to you properly and most importantly safely!
